Mappleton Beach

Mapleton Beach is just one of the many entry points of this continuous stretch of Yorkshire beach. All parts are much the same with a large area of sand backed by small cliffs that suffer from erosion so care must be taken.

Facilities at Mapleton Beach are limited and include a hard-surfaced free car park and toilets. The car park does only have a small number of spaces and can often be full, with restrictions on parking in the village you should be prepared to head either up to Hornsea or south to places like Tunstall Beach.
