Withernsea beach is a sand and shingle beach that stretches for miles in either direction.
Facilities include car parking, promenade, toilets, seasonal lifeguards, amusements, shops and places to eat.
The 19th Century pier is no longer standing although you can see some towers on the promenade marking its location. However, the old lighthouse still stands and is unusually within the town itself.
Withernsea Beach has been awarded a regional Seaside Award.
