Banham Zoological Gardens, formerly Banham Zoo, is a 50-acre zoo in Banham, Norfolk, run by the Zoological Society of East Anglia.
Banham Zoological Gardens is a conservation hub for endangered species of animals from around the world, including the Amur Tiger, Red Panda, Grevyโs Zebra, and Black-Footed Penguin. There is something for everyone at Banham Zoological Gardens. Support our conservation work, enjoy native wildlife, and reconnect with the animals you know and love. Together, we can make a difference.
The zoo started with a collection of pheasants and parrots in the late 1960s and acquired a colony of woolly monkeys in 1971. Today, Banham Zoological Gardens has a wide range of different animals to see but still has a significant collection of smaller mammals and reptiles.
The zoo is open throughout the year and plenty of eating options from restaurants to snack shacks.
