Brean Down

Brean Down headland just to the south of Weston-super-Mare is a spectacular 97m high outcrop extending 2km into the Bristol Channel and one of the most dramatic landmarks on Somerset’s coastline with cliffs and Victorian fort built in 1865. You have some spectacular views inland to the Somerset Levels or out to sea and south Wales.

Rich wildlife habitat can be explored by a network of paths.
