Burnham-on-Sea Main Beach

Burnham-on-Sea Main Beach is a sandy beach that is great for families with good swimming and entertainment. The beach stretch is one of the longest in Europe starting in Burnham-on-Sea but going on for miles to the north including the famous lighthouse beach.

Burnham-on-Sea is a traditional no-thrills thriving seaside town created in the Victorian era.

Facilities at the beach include car parking, pier, shops, toilets, showers and lifeguards in the summer. The beach includes a separate area for boats and jet skis to launch.

Take note that at low tide you can get large areas of mud.
