Ayres Nature Discovery Centre and Nature Trail

Ayres Nature Discovery Centre is within an 8km stretch of sand dunes and is designated as an Area of Special Scientific Interest (ASSI) and as a National Nature Reserve. The Nature Discovery Centre is run by Manx Wildlife Trust and staffed by volunteers.

The marked nature trails lead from the discovery centre along the shingle beach and through the marram dunes and heathland.

A choice of three marked trails of differing lengths and terrain offers a great walking opportunity and you could spot various birds and seals.
