As anyone who visits the coast a lot understands the RNLI provides a much-needed service that nobody ever wants to make a call on. Our Lifeboat category brings all Coast Radar’s listings related to Lifeboats and their stations together, with many opening to the public or offering fundraising shops.

- Whitby lifeboat station was established in 1802 and now has two lifeboats; an inshore and all weather. Whitby lifeboat station is open weekdays and Sunday with the shop open in the summer.
- Wicklow lifeboat station was established in 1857 and operates inshore and all weather lifeboats. Station is open daily, shop is open Sundays between May and October.
- Exmouth lifeboat station was established in 1803 and now operates from a new station on the seafront. Has two lifeboats; an all weather and inshore. Station and shop are open daily.
- The Mumbles lifeboat station was established in 1835 and operates inshore and all weather lifeboats. Station is open mornings weekdays and Sunday. Shop (weather permitting) open daily Easter to September.
- New Quay lifeboat station was established in 1864. Station open for visits (afternoon only) and shop open afternoons Easter to end of September.
- Happisburgh lifeboat station established in 1866 with the current inshore boat being launched from Cart Gap. The old station can’t be used due to coastal erosion.
